Fantastic Negrito has lived several lives already. He’s gone through the ringers of being signed, shelved, and dropped from a major label, survived a horrible car accident that left him in a coma and having to relearn to use one of his hands. That lead to a new style of guitar playing for him and a lot on his mind. A lot on his mind. And it all comes out on his new record, one of my favorite of the year, The Last Days of Oakland.
