'A Soundtrack for Fatherhood' is a collection of songs, new and previously released, by Maryland, MC, and producer, Substantial. The music is inspired both by his experiences as a father and by his first-ever children's book, 'She Sees: Based on the song In My Daughters' Eyes by Substantial'.
The beats on ASFF are Substantial's signature jazzy and soulful sound including several self-produced tracks including three all-new songs. Other production credits include Marcus D, Allmos (fka Algorythm) ½ of the production duo The Stuyvesants, Oddisee, and Jon Laine.
ASFF also includes guest appearances by Stephanie Gayle (fka Steph the Sapphic Songstress), Asheru, Kokayi, Gods'Illa, Jsoul, DJ RBI, DJ AAROCK, and Fjer.
