"Crushed Utopia" is a granular remix of my orchestral work "Forging Utopia." A substantial portion of the original composition for orchestra is heard in accelerated, granulated time, in the original sequence, but with the parts of the recording chopped up and reordered in space by spatial granular algorithms. This hyper music speeds up time. If you listen to the original orchestral work, and then come back to listen to this track, you will experience compressed time and a destruction of utopia.
