"Harry Ken’s years of experience behind the turntables are always evident in his driving sets that are always hard on the bass. At the tender age of 15 he began to take the 1210s into his heart and his first resident gig wasn’t long in coming. Still addicted to hip-hop at the age of 17, it quickly became apparent to the man from Ulm that the hard bass and the driving melody would be his musical home and so he set out to seduce the crowd with electronic sets.
Musically, his sets are difficult to classify in one of the many electronic drawers – but they all have one thing in common: ATTACK!Whether in small basement clubs or on the big boards that mean the world, Harry knows how to play with the crowd, to close their eyes to seductive dreams or to open their mouths wide and make the crowd go crazy.
“Hands up Harry” always remains true to its musical diversity and knows perfectly how to let the various varieties of electronic bandwidth appear in its sets. That Harry does not only cut a good figure behind the turntables is shown by his various releases on well-known labels as well as his top placements on Beatport! Further releases will follow, of course, and we can already look forward to what Harry has in store for us.
In addition, Harry runs various series of events very successfully in his position as Head of “Schlaflos” and “Bordel Nouveau”, which have put southern Germany into turmoil and will continue to do so. A man with many faces – why not smile at him too?"
