French artist Teho and Montreal based comrade Van Did have joined forces on this EP. Combining their talents for building powerful and emotional soundscapes, the duo have released an impressive EP called Hope on Stephan Bodzin’s Herzblut Recordings last year.
It’s little wonder that Teho & Van Did's music has found support from the likes of Applescal, Hernan Cattaneo, Moonbeam, Gabriel & Dresden and Deepfunk, Long Way From Home is a perfect example of their immersive, multilayered sound. Warm bassline, enchanting pads and escalating melodies make for an epic opener. Huacachina is a groovy and progressive composition yet powerful and cinematic.
French Duo, We Need Cracks, deliver a dreamy and captivating remix of Long Way From Home, duo has been catching international attention with very solid releases on labels such as Traum Schallplatten.
Completing the release is remix by Daniel Zuur, Amsterdam based producer who deliver a deeper and melodic rework that still retains the energy of the original.
