92Groovz, a story that started on the dancefloor and headed to the studio. Nomadic moves and a familial upbringing bestowing a huge respect to music as a form of expression helped enrich a mood with a deep inquisitiveness about the roots of dancefloor culture. And this project is an homage to that research. A listening repetoire spanning from 70s Motown tunes, blues, jazz to 90s grunge and millennium electronica, promises you an eclectic journey.
92Groovz Recordings, is the imprint we'd like to display the talent of artists and friends alike that we think will help to bring back a certain punk-ish, neo-grunge stage of the techno scene. Possibly with some old school funk/RnB/soul vibes mixed in here and there from time to time too! We're here to add some colour to the techno palette, at least thats the plan for the forthcoming three years - but we'll see what the music brings, expect some serious dancefloor business and maybe we'll throw in a chill out EP here and there. We just want to throw out straight grooves for the peeps and hopefully get booked more often too!
