Walter Cronkite said that "Project Censored" is one of the organizations that we should listen to, to be assured that our newspapers and our broadcasting outlets are practicing thorough and ethical journalism. Project Censored is a media research, education, and advocacy initiative started at Sonoma State University in 1976.It is currently housed at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California. Project Censored was founded by Carl Jensen to expose censorship in propaganda and mass media. The current director is Mickey Huff.
