Glaskin is the alias of Munich-based brothers Jonathan and Ferdinand, who have established themselves as key figures in the city’s electronic music scene. As longtime residents of the renowned Blitz Club, they’ve cultivated a distinct identity, emerging as standout talents from within Munich’s vibrant underground.
Known for their unique, forward-thinking take on techno, the duo has consistently pushed boundaries with releases such as the Inertia of Motion EP on Mutual Rytm, the Valve EP on their own label YAEL trip or the standout remix for Len Faki’s Figure imprint. Their latest Blue Light EP on Fjaak’s CROWD label marks the next evolution of their sonic journey.
The four tracks on Blue Light stem directly from the creative process behind their live set—now a defining element of their artistry—and reflect a natural progression in their sound. Crafted entirely with analog gear, the EP captures Glaskin’s commitment to a hands-on, hardware-driven approach and a clear, cohesive artistic vision.
