Week 1

“The one who manages the little he has been given with faithfulness and integrity will be promoted and trusted with greater responsibilities. But those who cheat with the little they have been given will not be considered trustworthy to receive more. If you have not handled the riches of this world with integrity, why should you be trusted with the eternal treasures of the spiritual world? And if you’ve not been proven faithful with what belongs to another, why should you be given wealth of your own? It is impossible for a person to serve two masters at the same time. You will be forced to love one and reject the other. One master will be despised and the other will have your loyal devotion. It is no different with God and the wealth of this world. You must enthusiastically love one and definitively reject the other.” Now, the Jewish religious leaders who were listening to Jesus were lovers of money. They laughed at what he said and mocked his teachings. Luke 16:10-14

1. BRING THE FIRST 10% TO GOD

10: GOD

10: SAVE

80: LIVE

“Each year bring to the house of the Lord your God the first grain that you harvest.” Exodus 23:19

“Glorify God with all your wealth, honoring him with your very best with every increase that comes to you. Then every dimension of your life will overflow with blessings
from an uncontainable source of inner joy!” Proverbs 3:9-10

2. OVERCOME YOUR FEARS WITH FAITH

“The earth and everything on it belong to the Lord. The world and its people belong to him.” Psalm 24:1

“ ‘Bring your full tithe to the Temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in my Temple. Test me in this and see if I don’t open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams. For my part, I will defend you against marauders, protect your wheat fields and vegetable gardens against plunderers.’ The message of God-of-the-Angel-Armies.” Malachi 3:10-11

“The whole congregation of believers was united as one—one heart, one mind! They didn’t even claim ownership of their own possessions. No one said, “That’s mine; you can’t have it.” They shared everything. The apostles gave powerful witness to the resurrection of the Master Jesus, and grace was on all of them. And so it turned out that not a person among them was needy. Those who owned fields or houses sold them and brought the price of the sale to the apostles and made an offering of it. The apostles then distributed it according to each person’s need.” Acts 4:32-35
