Although the month has passed, we know some of you haven't listened up to any black history, so we hope you enjoy learning more about it! This episode features a one-on-one conversation between Shado and Ashley Finley, a writer, poet, and LA native who is very outspoken on black women's issues. They discuss Kamala Harris's political policies and how some of them have helped black people, but other policies have allowed more people to be locked up in our prison system. They also discuss what they feel black history month is really about and why black history is a huge part of American history.
