This is my entry for the Beat Collective Challenge set on 13th December 2022 and closing on 15th January 2023.
The challenge is to incorporate the provided samples in to an original track.
This month the samples are provided by Two Wheels:-
- S1 Hand mixer
- S2 Synth bass mutation
- S3 Lift
S1, Hand mixer. I dropped it into Ableton's Simpler, sampled the very beginning of it to create a high pitched sound, then created a two note rhythm, one note an octave higher than the other. This plays throughout the track.
S2, Synth bass mutation, also placed into Simpler. I selected one part of the sound, pitched it up and made a riff from it that plays in the first half of the track.
S3 Lift sample comes in at 1 min, 2 mins and4 mins 45 secs.
