"Chao Manu - Farewell my drunk pianist" is the Wonan tales' first release. It was written with the idea in mind to paraphrase one of Manu Chao's most memorable melodies to me (1:48), and recontextualizing it in a completely different musical genre to demonstrate that melodic forms can take on many different guises and evoke disparate emotions depending upon interpretation; be it by an artist or a consumer.
