Just over a week ago, Flora Duffy made history for her home country of Bermuda when she was the first female to win the country's first gold medal ever at a Commonwealth Games. The only other Gold medal at a Commonwealth Games for the country went to Clarence ‘Nicky’ Saunders who took gold in the men’s high jump in Auckland in 1990.
We caught up with with her just days after her gold medal performance, and while we typically shy away from more talk about swim, bike and run, it would have been remiss of us not to discuss the Commonwealth Games for at least a little bit of this episode.
