Description

This is an extremely special edition of the Witsup Podcast as we welcome our first Supportive Dude to the series.

Delly Carr. It's a name that's synonymous with the word, triathlon. For 30 years he's been behind the lens of some of your favourite swim, bike and run images, but he's also been by the side of young triathletes as they grew into world champions, sporting a wicked sense of humour and a cheeky grin along the way.

He's an internationally acclaimed sports photographer, not just in triathlon, a Nikon ambassador and was the AIPP Australian Sport Photographer Of The Year 2017, but more importantly, he is a close friend of mine and was one of the first people I confided in when I wanted to launch WITSUP. So we can thank him for his continual guidance.

Have a listen as we discuss his time within the sport, how much he sold his first photo for, other sports and photography projects he's been involved in, and we get quite emotional as we discuss a rough time he went through last year when he suffered a stroke, but how that life changing moment has impacted him in ways he would never have imagined. I loved this chat and learnt even more about the man behind the lens.

We love you Delly x
