Skye Moench has had an incredible past 18months, and after a win at the Ironman European Champs in Frankfurt in July, she looked set to have a great debut at the Ironman World Champs in Kona.
However, an horrific bike accident, has left her sidelined (for now), and truth be told, lucky to be alive. She is however, on the mend, and while the accident was a big part of our chat, we spoke about many other things like, hands down, the most perfect way that she was proposed to, her career prior to becoming a professional triathlete, and how to pronounce her name.
