FEMALE NARRATOR 1:
Hi there. Welcome to the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. We’re glad you’re taking this tour!

MALE NARRATOR 2:
The National Gallery has more than 100,000 works of art... it’s impossible to see them all on one visit…

FEMALE NARRATOR 1:
…so we’ve selected some of our most famous paintings for you to investigate.

MALE NARRATOR 2:
We hope you’ve brought along your imagination and are ready for some careful looking… and a lot of fun!

FEMALE NARRATOR 1:
The paintings come from around the world—Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Great Britain—and the United States. You’ll see works made by some of the great artists from history, like Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Paul Cezanne, and Vincent van Gogh. And meet some interesting creatures too…

(sfx: dog barking, slithering beasts from Bosch, Rubens’ lions, horse neighing, tropical birds and monkeys)

MALE NARRATOR 2:
Okay, everyone, get back in your places so we can start the tour!

FEMALE:
To take this tour, look for labels on the wall and a children’s tour number.

Enter the number on your keypad, and press the green Play button.

If you don’t press Play, this is what you’ll hear:

MALE NARRATOR:
Nothing! That’s right, nada, nothing, zip…

FEMALE NARRATOR:
So don’t forget to press Play.

BOTH FEMALE AND MALE:
Have a great time!
