The God of Israel teaches us His Torah through patterns and principles. A key Torah principle is this: the events that happened in the lives of the patriarchs are a foreshadow and a prophecy to us, their descendants. Biblical history is prophecy.
We have been looking at the events in the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Moses to see how these historical events speak to us about future events of a Greater Exodus to come. These events are instruction to us to understand the way in which the Greater exodus will happen.
We saw that the miraculous birth of Isaac was at Passover. This is a prophecy that the miraculous birth of the “biblical Zion” nation will happen at Passover.
The Passover Connection:
*The children of Israel were redeemed, delivered and walked out of Egypt into their freedom…at Passover.
*When did Yeshua die on the tree? At Passover. This was the beginning of the process of the final redemption of His people.
*The historical Passover is a prophecy that in the end of days, we will be redeemed, delivered and walk out of our Egypt/Babylon into freedom….at Passover.
*Yeshua will accomplish the end of the exile of his people who have been scattered to all nations…at the time of Passover. He will complete His mission to gather and unite all 12 tribes!
*The birth of Isaac is a prophecy of the birth of the biblical Zion nation.
*What’s the bottom line? Passover is the “set time” and the season for redemption, both in history and in future prophecy!
