Has the Levitical Priesthood been done away with or replaced?
In this session, Eddie gives us a background on the book of Hebrews so we can better understand the context and purpose of the book of Hebrews.
One of the main points in Hebrews is this: Yeshua is a Melchezedik Priest. Hebrews compares and contrasts Yeshua being the Melchezedik Priest with the role and task of the Levitical Priesthood, showing that Yeshua being Messiah in His role as Melchizedek Priest is SUPERIOR to the Levitical Priesthood.
It was NOT that Yeshua was doing away with the Torah or doing away with the Levitical Priesthood. The Levitical Priesthood has NOT been done away with or replaced. It has been added to with a SUPERIOR Melchezedik Priesthood.
