We joyfully swing open the doors of our consciousness to accept that which we like. Yet Life brings the unwelcome to our door with regularity. Conflict, challenges, inadequacies, failure, evil, loss, and death pound at our door at inconvenient hours and, though we may prefer to keep them out, they keep pounding until we let them in. As we welcome these unwelcome guests, rude, unclean, incompetent and uncaring, we discover gifts we could not have found otherwise and become more fully the light we truly came here to be. This week we will focus on specific practices that allow us to be more fully in the flow of life as it is showing up at our door.
