Sometimes we pray and ask God to change our circumstances...and he doesn't. Does that bother you when God doesn't do what you tell him to do? Yeah, it doesn't work that way, right? In this passage Jesus comes walking on the water to his disciples while they're in a boat in the middle of the Sea of Galilee, thinking they're about to die. Jesus did calm the storm, but he left them in the boat. So, rather than totally change their circumstances, he got in the boat with them. Perhaps rather than changing your circumstance, you need to realize that Jesus is ready to get in the boat with you.
