Each of us likely has friends or family members who are not followers of Christ. We pray, we invite, we cry over them. Then, sometimes, we just stop. We give up. Another's salvation is not contingent on us, for only God saves, but this story in Mark 2 speaks of the hope and perseverance in Christ. Don't give up just because you cannot see the finish line. Keep praying. Keep inviting. Keeping bringing your friends and family. Then, trust God.
