When Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would arrive soon, but that the disciples were to go back to Jerusalem and wait, it had to be the longest few days since the resurrection. Yet, when the Holy Spirit arrived, the church era began and power and giftedness came upon Christ's followers in ways they had never experienced.
