There's much to think about when reading of Peter and John's encounter with the man born lame. This lame beggar had a need, but even he didn't truly understand what his deepest needs were. That's true for many of us. That which we think we need is not really what we need. Peter and John offer what he really needed (and it wasn't the ability to walk, though that happened.) This is amazing story of God's power and the value of one.
