Description

Can you be too real on stage? Can you be too grounded in the work and too absorbed in the emotions. We speak of this and other theatre subjects and Norman and I welcome Bob Zick and Travis Bedard - two college kids from New Hampshire who drive cross country to the bay area to get involved in theatre. Two decades later, they reunite. Bob and Travis are two of my former colleagues, whom I worked with at the now defunct BayStage and Eastenders Repertory Company. Travis has since been a cofounder of Cambiare Productions in Austin TX and now lives in Wisconsin with his wife Megan Reilly. Bob teaches theatre at Fountain Valley HS and is starting a family in Garden Grove, CA. We talk about the ongoing COVID crisis, Trump dog whistles and how real do you need to be on the stage?
