Description

Jerome Joseph Gentes is a very special guest. He was the first person to be interviewed on The Yay (Episode 8) way back in May of 2017, when The Yay really needed content and way to share what’s going on in the Bay Area. Five years later, we’re still here, and Jerome was a big part of it. Back then, he was the executive director of Play Café / Musical Café. Now, he is in Palm Springs with his husband, and his new project is TigerBear Productions (www.tigerbearproductions) which showcases new shows, performances and other content from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Jerome describes himself as a multi-disciplinary experience designer – it’s an eloquent way of saying he’s a writer, actor, organizer and producer. Jerome shares with us what he’s been doing since we last talked, more about TigerBear, and the memories he has while he was in the Bay Area.
