Description

On this episode of The Yay, I have the pleasure of interviewing Isaiah Dufort, Asst. Director at San Francisco Art & Film for Teens (www.artandfilm.org). Isaiah was also a writer and director for several Eastenders projects, which is where I know him. Isaiah talks about the differences between writing for the stage and film, the challenges of teaching film to teenagers, and we talk about politics and our experiences in New York City. I also want to give a shout out to the Arabian Shakespeare's New Works Festival (https://newworks.brownpapertickets.com) and their show All The Shah's Men, a telling of the overthrow of the prime minister in Iran in the '50's. If you loved the movie Argo, you'll definitely be interested in this show. It plays May 3rd through May 20th.
