A tragic house fire on Christmas Eve, 1945 claims the lives of 5 of the Sodder familiy's children: Maurice, Martha, Louis, Jennie, and Betty, aged 5 to 14. The official cause of death for the Sodder children who perished is that they died in a fire. However, with no bodies or remains ever found and slew of details about that ill-fated night not adding up, many believe the children actually disappeared.
