Life as an artist is not always easy. Sometimes there are phases of uncertainty and insecurity. Stepping Stones is all about this feeling: lost, not knowing which direction to take, watching others move forward while you stand still. It's a feeling most people know, and one that needed to be put into words.
When @Solatic heard @Landhouse's instrumental, the melody for the vocals came to him immediately. The lyrics, the melody, and the track just clicked, in one of those rare moments where everything falls into place naturally. Maybe being lost is exactly where you need to be.
Although Landhouse and Solatic have known each other for years and share the same label, this is their first collaboration. Hopefully not the last.
