About Caleb Musgrave
Caleb Musgrave was born to a mixed heritage family in Ontario Canada. Steeped in the Aboriginal culture of his father's people, the Ojibway, Caleb’s wilderness training began at an early age. While most boys were watching power rangers, Caleb was following coyotes back to their dens south of Ottawa and shaping crude stone tools on the banks of the Saugeen River. Preferring to be out of doors rather than in a building, Caleb would often leave school just to be around the ducks and herons of the town pond.
He has spent more than half of his life learning and teaching the skills needed to live comfortably in the wilderness with minimal equipment. This career of living off the land helped Caleb with his position as Aboriginal Archeology Liaison for the Williams Treaty Indians. This work has sent him across Ontario, learning from some of the top Archeologists in the province. In addition Caleb has traveled much of North America learning the practices and skills of other Native Peoples. From Seminole, to Apache, Caleb has gained a broad perspective on the history, legends, and ways of life of the original peoples of the Americas.
Caleb has now taken this unique perspective and practice of aboriginal skills and native mythology and combined them with his passion for horror stories, heavy metal music, and writing; producing one of the darkest collections of stories to ever be based on the legends of the Native peoples.
