Patrick Whalen is the co-founder of the Nutmeg Institute, which is focused on the growth, connectivity and education of film, digital media and content creation. He is also the city producer for the Connecticut 48 hour film project (filmmakers get 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a short film). We talked about his current projects but also got into our favorite and least favorite movies, along with which "all time great" films we think are overrated. Go to nutmeginstitute.com, and 48hourfilmproject.com/newhaven to see what Pat's up to.
Also, I recently got in touch with an old friend who has started her own drive to donate products to kids with cancer at the StonyBrook Medical Center. Get in touch with her @ally_v_13 to see what you’d like to send to these kids to brighten up their days!
