Stations of Advent
Starting at 9:00 am on December 22, and closing 3:00 pm on December 26. (The journey can be viewed in daylight or darkness).
Take an Advent journey! Our team has put together an audio / visual tour that will launch the morning of Tuesday, December 22. You can load your family up in the car and take the journey together, or go alone as a personal renewal.
The audio will be available on several platforms through the "Light Steps Live" podcast (Apple, Spotify, Castbox, SoundCloud, & Google podcast). The audio will give starting directions, and directions for every step and stop of the journey. When you access the audio, just press play, listen the instructions and off you go. What is the first starting point? Your driveway! Cool, huh? 🙂 Get in your car, get comfortable, and press play.
This season was long ago set aside by the Church to recognize and celebrate the coming of the Messiah. God the Son emptied Himself of His heavenly privileges and submitted Himself to the Father's good plan to walk among mankind, live sinless, die for sinners, defeat death, and ascend back to the throne in heaven having won in flesh the title "LORD." Let's spend some of this special season drawing near to our Father through the story of the once come and returning King.
Many local, Christian friends have worked together to create art, tell the story, provide / acquire music, and provide resources to have the delightful privilege to tell the story of Christ. (Listen to the end for a complete list.)
