1917 is a powerful, patriotic, moral war movie set at the western front in France and Belgium during World War I. A British commander sends two soldiers, Blake and Schofield, across No Man’s Land through bombed-out areas to warn 1600 British troops on the front lines that they are heading into a German trap. Blake is chosen because his brother is among the 1600 troops. Schofield doesn’t want to go, but Blake heads off, and Schofield follows him. Will they make it in time?
