DOLLY PARTON’S MOUNTAIN MAGIC CHRISTMAS on NBC-TV is like a show within a movie. When it starts to snow, Dolly Parton is inspired and calls her partner, Sam Haskell, to tell him she has an idea. The idea is to produce a beautiful Christmas special in just a few weeks. Happily, a big network is willing to pick up the special because the network executive says Dolly brings positive inspirational content in a bleak world. Dolly and Sam have to produce this live special with only a few weeks to prepare. Will Dolly be able to come up with the lyrics and make this special truly special?
