Description

KISS THE GROUND is a documentary advocating the use of regenerative farming. Narrated by Actor Woody Harrelson, the movie’s experts, farmers and ranchers say the over-ruse of pesticides and tilling in the United States has depleted the carbon dioxide in the soil that plants and crops need to grow and survive. They show these methods have helped increase the atmosphere’s amount of carbon dioxide. To stop soil destruction, the movie supports regenerative farming. In this system, farms use no-till or reduced till methods for planting crops, let some cropland areas stay unused for a year, move grass-fed livestock around more frequently, and apply composting.
