Today I conclude my review of the movie Now and Then.
This podcast episode picks up with the girls Sam, Roberta, Teeny and Chrissy leaving the Greenfield Library. From there they end up seeing the Wormer Bros skinny dipping, they also meet Brendan Fraser who plays an Vietnam Veteran who gives them sage advice, and the girls finally solve their mystery surrounding Dear Johnny's death along with moving us the viewers moving back to present day 1991 when Chrissy has her baby and the girls as women reconnect in the treehouse and make a new pact, ending the movie as it opened with a game of Red Rover.
Overall this movie will always hold a special place in my heart. I know I gave Chrissy a lot of grief in this second half but boy oh boy did that girl get on my nerves.
