Happy Turkey Month Everyone,
In honor of Thanksgiving, I thought I'd cover S2E9: The Letter, which aired on November 22, 1985.
In this episode right before Thanksgiving, Kevin secretly joins the football team, so he can earn a letter and prove that he's worth something to his dad, since George only cares that his boys are good at sports and Kevin wants George to spare Wesley that grief.
I don't know any high school football team that would have their last game on Thanksgiving. Also aren't tryouts during the summer, so how did Kevin get on the team unless the team lost a few players.
Not to mention, Kevin's a minor, how the hell did he get a room, even if it is in skid row and also with what money did he pay with, we know he doesn't have a job.
All these questions, but alas it's just a 30 minute sitcom, if this were real life, Kevin and George would not have resolved this that fast.
Kevin, you almost ruined your family's Thanksgiving over this whole football proving yourself to your dad thing, which he never asked you to do in the first place, and this was Mr. Belvedere's first Thanksgiving in the states and first with the Owens family.
Well, that's my rant.
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!
