Finally the moment we’ve all been waiting since Season 4, Kevin and Winnie rekindle their romance, but first they have to get rid of their dates that they conveniently set each other up with, Mr. Basic 5 Questions Matt and Inga the Swede Exchange Student (who Kevin at one point describes as a “Swedish Meatball”).
In S5E16: Double Double Date
Which aired on February 26, 1992.
In this episode When Kevin develops a crush on the new Swedish exchange student, he asks Winnie to help fix him up on a date with her. In return, Winnie asks Kevin to fix her up with a new student that is in one of his classes. Things get interesting when they are all forced to double date to the spring dance.
Also great to see Paul again, he looks good in blue and I say many times how great Kevin looks in ruffles.
I gushed towards the end of this episode. We also get to hear their first meet cute, in the rain, Winnie brings Kevin over to her house to get dried off after Wayne locks him out of the house.

In this episode With McKinley High making a run in the state basketball playoffs, Kevin takes an interest in the team and has a new hero in star player Bobby Riddle. However, when Bobby has a letdown, Kevin learns a valuable lesson in a what a hero really is.
