Summer is here!
Let’s celebrate with The Wonder Years S6E21: Summer which aired on May 12, 1993.
In this episode After a fight with his dad, Kevin drives off to the summer resort where Winnie is working, to get a job and try to make it on his own. Only Winnie does not seem all that happy to see him.
Also Kevin's friends Chuck and Jeff head off on a cross country road trip to New York, New Orleans, and San Francisco. My guess is that will be the last we ever see of them because they never make it home again.
Wayne is the safety supervisor over Kevin at their Dad's shop. Oh, brother, (insert eyeroll here).
Kevin of course has always had a lousy work ethic no matter where he goes, the hardware store, Mr. Chong's Chinese, his Dad's factory, and also the resort. I hope that Kevin matures as he gets older and learns how to make it in the work force and I'm sure Kevin's wife won't put up with his shitty attitude, so hopefully time in the real world will shave off Kevin's edges.
I'll continue on with S6E22: Independence Day on July 4.
