Welcome to the Weekend Wonderlings,
Angela Bowen here, the host of Looking Back On My Wonder Years: A Wonder Years Podcast.
S6E7: Wayne and Bonnie
Airdate: November 11, 1992
In this episode With Winnie still upset at him, Kevin looks for ways to get her back. Meanwhile, Wayne begins seeing Bonnie, a divorced mother, whom he plans to move in with against his parents' wishes.
I have some additional thoughts on this episode that you can feel free to ponder.
Cindi does not look 13?
Do you agree or disagree?
How do you think Jack handled Wayne moving in with Bonnie vs when Karen moved in with Michael?
I know, it was a different time and fathers treated their daughters differently from their sons when it came to who could get away with what.
Honestly, I felt Norma was more upset about it then Jack. However we see Jack sitting on the bed looking defeated at the end of the episode while Norma comforts him. Because what else can you really do or say, Wayne’s 18. Although so was Karen, and Jack was about to drag her back home.
What if you reversed it and instead of Wayne and Bonnie, it was Kevin and Winnie moving in together?Would Jack and Norma’s reaction be the same or different because they know Winnie?

Is anyone ever ready for the SATs?
I've never taken them, but I hear they are super stressful and nerve racking.
Kevin's losing sleep over it and Jack's thinking of quitting NORCOM after receiving a lukewarm evaluation and getting in to the furniture making business in S6E9: The Test, which aired on December 2, 1992.
In this episode While Kevin struggles to study for his upcoming SAT tests, Jack ponders quitting NORCOM to go into the furniture-making business.
Have a great weekend everyone!
