Pokemon GO wants to thrust gamers into the world to find Pokemon in real locations, which brings up a question: how much do you really like Pokemon? Do you like it enough to travel to various locations to catch and battle Pokemon? And how will the developers keep people out of dangerous areas? I guess we may get some answers on that sometime after they show us some real game play. Also, the XBox One vs Playstation 4 debate heats up again, this time with Jarret defending Microsoft and Jorge defending Sony. Jarret thinks if Microsoft can pull itself out of this hole it will end up winning this console generation, while Jorge thinks it’s already too late for Microsoft. Good arguments are thrown around for both sides.
Washington State set a precedent last week when it comes to unsuccessful or delayed Kickstarters and Jorge couldn’t be happier. Apple finally unleashed the “console killer” analyst have been saying is coming for a long time now. They spent a hole five minutes talking about it. Additionally we get into a lengthy conversation about diversity in eSports commentary and whether it’s a real problem or just a perceived problem. All this and more on this week’s Mashcast.
