The original “Juicy Fruit" is a 1983 song written by James Mtume and released as the lead-off single from Mtume's third album, also titled Juicy Fruit. It features lead vocals by Tawatha Agee. The mid-tempo song is arguably Mtume's most well-known, proving enormously successful on R&B radio stations when first released.
Fast forward to 2020, DJ Supe adds his signature quirky sound with a funky twist to this monster hit. Doesn’t replace the original, but definitely adds to it’s legacy.
