This a track taken from Vincents latest album 'A Place Called Home'. This track describes a very peculiar thing from the past: In the old soviet times, western music wasn't widely available, so people pirated it by copying the vinyl grooves to used x-ray sheets. So thats what you got: A floppy disc that spun the bones all around.
If you want to know more about it, it's often referred to as Bone Music (see link below).
I love this whole story. Reminds me of the few years that I got to experience the GDR, where we already had tapes and also american radio stations just over the wall. Still, people got inventive back then and resilient, some skills that unfortunately became very relevant again very suddenly...
This remix turned out rather well, it's more a thing that happened, than something I made. Those arpeggiators pretty soon reminded me of old Animal Collective tracks, so I tried to lean a bit into this style, which gives the whole affair a nice little spin: AC often referred to the Beach Boys as a major influence, while Vincent in his lyrics quite explicitly refers to The Beatles. So, yeah, bold names for a fun little track, I know. But I had a lot of fun with this one and I love the result!
