On Saturday March 12th, 2016 it was the Judy McCaw Cup, a rematch of last year's OUA Championship between the Western Mustangs and the Guelph Gryphons. Both teams would be going to Calgary, Alberta for the CIS National tournament next week, but who would go as Provincial Champion? Unlike last year, the game was played at the Gryphons Centre on the campus of Guelph University and unlike last year at Thompson Arena in London, Ontario where the Mustangs won 2-0, Guelph dominated in front of their home crowd in a 5-1 win. It would be the Gryphons first Judy McCaw Cup since 1998 and the 4th one in program history. This broadcast had John Urban and Everett Hanmer taking you through the action, with Dustin Moore at Ice Level and Dan Soden back in the studio.
