On Wednesday March 2nd, 2016 the Western women's basketball team hosted the Toronto Varsity Blues in an OUA Preliminary match. The winner would go off to face the Ryerson Rams in Toronto on Saturday. The Mustangs stormed out of the gate, large in part to Meredith McLeods 26 points performance, guiding Western to a 40 points win 91-51. This broadcast was live from Alumni Hall with John Urban and Greg Campbell with the call, with court-side reporting from Karl Nacion and Dan Soden in the studio.
