Sound the alarms! Blow the shofar! God’s major message in Joel 2 was a warning to Israel that the Day of the Lord was coming. Chris speaks about this shofar blast as being a warning both of the Babylonian invasion and of the prophetic battle of the Tribulation. Great judgment was coming to Israel, but even then, God was making a way for His Chosen People to return to Him.
