Today’s conversation is with Jessica Hutchinson. Jessica is the Executive Director of the Coastal Westcoast Forestry Society. The Central Westcoast Forest Society (CWFS) was founded in 1995 by loggers, First Nations, biologists and forestry professionals who recognized the need to address the loss of habitat from 70 years of destructive logging practices in order to preserve our wild fish stocks. She has worked in the environmental field for 14 years as a visionary, leader and a practitioner in her field. Jessica has a Master’s of Science from Royal Roads University in Environment and Management.
