This is one of those sets that built up inside me, patiently awaiting its perfect moment. I found a few of these tracks some years ago and was struck by their unique flavor. Slowly but surely I built up my collection of what I would call the "indie-dance / nu-disco" sound. There is plenty of music under the blanket of those genres but much less of it out there that speaks to my personal tastes. I kept my ears open and picked them up one by one. This isn't a style that I will play often, but damn did it feel right on this beautiful sunrise morning in the desert. Smiling faces and dancing bodies radiated love and light, the speaker stacks roared and my heart was full. I hope you enjoy this set at full volume and dance yourself unabashedly into your happy place :)
