Liminal comes from the Latin word limen, meaning threshold or transitional. A bounded space is between "what is" and "next". "It is a place of transition, a time of waiting. However, since structure cannot in principle be grasped by traditional categories, we are further from fully grasping the problem, less concerned with contextual implications, and farther away from addressing the problem for appropriate structural concepts. Stable coinage is farther away. Even though finitude can manifest itself in a therapeutic setting, we should be mindful of going through stages of finitude.
