The City was awarded $335 million to evaluate and develop integrated coastal protection for the 2.4 mile stretch from East 25th Street to Montgomery Street. This means massive reconstruction and changes for East River Park. But some residents are saying its time to slow down, that this plan is driven by a development agenda and not the true needs of the people.
