The Jacksonville Suns (10-9, 40-49) defeated the Birmingham Barons (9-9, 38-50) by a 1-0 score in the fourth game of the five-game series at Regions Field on Tuesday night.
The game was scoreless until the top of the eighth inning when former Baron and Suns first baseman Chris Curley powered a solo homer over the right field wall to give the Suns a 1-0 lead, which would be the final score.
